WHEN: Friday, August 19, 7:00 pm

PLEDGES: Please continue to collect your pledges and submit them by check-in on Friday in a sealed envelope with your name on the outside. As you know, it is vital that each student bring in their $250 minimum pledge for the Bulldog Band and Angels to continue its great accomplishments.

CHECK IN: Begins at 7:00 pm. Please DO NOT arrive prior to 7 pm!

WHAT TO BRING
Arrive in clothes suitable for the midnight march/practice. You may bring a change of clothes, sweatpants, etc. to change into after the rehearsal. Only minimal time, if any, will be used for changing clothes prior to the practice.

Bring a comfortable chair/rocker. A pillow and a blanket may come in handy too. If bringing personal electronics, please bring only small battery-operated ones. Neither the School District nor the Booster Club is responsible for loss or damage.

Freshman and Sophomores will bring snack foods. The Freshman and Sophomore instruments listed below are asked to bring the indicated items. All items will be to share with the Band and Angels.

* Saxophone, Bass Clarinet – Strawberries, Oranges, or Bananas
* Trumpet – Grapes
* Percussion – Carrot Sticks or Cheese Cubes
* Drum Line – Celery Sticks
* Tuba – Ranch Dressing
* Clarinet – Chips/Pretzels (Large bag)
* Baritone & F Horn – Cookies
* Flute – Brownies

Juniors and Seniors will bring drinks. Juniors bring 2 liter sodas. Seniors bring fruit drinks.

Section Leaders and Drum Majors will bring water. Bring a case (32 count) of bottled water.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Food, games, prizes! Plan to show your talent at “AUSTIN’S GOT TALENT”.

DINNER: Pizza will be served around 8 pm, and snacks will be provided the rest of the evening.

DEPARTURE: The goal is to lock the school doors at 7 am, if not sooner. Parents, please be aware that students will have had little sleep, so you may consider picking them up rather than them drive home. If you are picking up your students, please start arriving at 5:30am. The students and all night volunteers will be ready to leave. The more volunteers who can help clean-up, put away equipment, and haul out chairs, the quicker we can be finished. The evening is a lot of fun but by 6 am, everyone is ready to go home.

Rock A Thon is a great way to get involved and support your student. If you have any questions, please contact us.
