Dear Band & Angel Parents and Students

Thank you to everyone who showed up at the Board Meeting for your show of support for Mr. Stevens. I think they got the message loud and clear! Let's make sure we keep our cause fresh in the Board members minds. This would be a good time to send each of them another email thanking them for listening to our plea and reminding them of our cause. All the email addresses are in the memo attached above.

Why These Events are SO Important!!!

To be a Nationally Known, Respected Marching Band and Dance Team, and place 8th in the NATION it takes MONEY.

Money is needed for Clinicians, Trailer repair, Instrument Upgrades and Repair, and MORE...

Money can be Raised, Donated, or Required through PARENTS of the Band and Angel members (Your Kids). We have well over 250 Band and Angel members; which translates to over an estimated 500 Parents. The more money we RAISE through these events means less money REQUIRED from Parents through the Marching Season for various events

(UIL Competitions, BOA Competitions).

As a compliment to this year’s Spring Concert, the Bulldog Band will be having a Dinner and Silent Auction. This event will take everyone’s support and help to be successful. We will be asking for parent volunteers to set-up, serve food, monitor the auction tables, sell tickets, handle auction check-out and clean-up. We are also looking for student and parent volunteers to be on the auction committee.

Please read the silent auction memo. Then use the sponsor letter, the auction donor form, and the auction receipt as tools to accomplish the items we need donated.

Working as a team, we all can raise needed donations to build another nationally remembered performance for the 2008 Marching Season. Every member and parent effort counts! This event as well as the upcoming Rock-A-Thon event in the Fall will build a foundation for the 2008 Marching Season. We all need to step up and raise those donations needed. We will all be a part of the success of the 2008 Marching Season by starting now with these efforts. A very heart felt THANKS to every parent and band member that steps up to meet the challenges of the upcoming marching year!
